| I normally said I wouldn't repeat anything on the Register page, but I believe it is necessary now. - Quote :
- Forum Terms of service
The moderators of this forum will try hard to edit or remove reprehensible messages as soon as possible. However, it is impossible for them to review all the messages. You thus admit that all the messages posted on this forum express the sight and opinion of their respective authors and not those of the moderators or the Webmaster (except messages posted by them) and consequently, they cannot be held responsible of the discussions.
This forum uses cookies to store information on your computer. These cookies will not contain any personal information; they are only used to improve comfort while browsing. The address e-mail is only used in order to confirm the details of your registration as your password (and also to send you back your password if you forget it).
- Aggressive or slanderous messages, as well as personal insults and critics, the coarseness and vulgarities, and more generally any message contravening the French laws are prohibited.
- Messages who promote - or evoke - illegal practices are prohibited. - If you post informations which come from another site , look first if the site in question doesn't forbid it. Show the address of the site in question in order to respect the work of their administrators! - Please post your messages only once. The repetitions are unpleasant and useless!
- Please make an effort on grammar and spelling. SMS-style language (ex: r u sk8ing?) is not advised!
Any message contravening the listing above will be edited or removed without additional notice or justification within deadlines which will depend on the availability of the moderators. Any abuse will involve the cancellation of the registration. Internet is neither an anonymous space, nor a space of no-right! We reserve ourselves the possibility of informing your access provider and/or the legal authorities of any malevolent behavior. An IP address of each poster is recorded in order to help us to make you respect these conditions.
By clicking on " I agree to these terms " below: - You acknowledge to have fully read these current rules; - You commit yourself to respect unreservedly these current rules; - You grant the moderators of this forum the right to delete, move or edit any discussion subject at any moment.
- Please, PLEASE do not spam, or just post rather spammy messages.
This happens too often in the forum, and drives other users away. Do not spam smileys, and make your posts meaningful. Please do not post pointless posts. Spam stands for Stupid Pointless Annoying Messages. So, make your posts meaning full and reasonable. Warning Points: + 1
- Please use proper grammar and spelling. Chat speaking
isn't advised on the forum, as it tends to bother people a whole lot.
- Please don't keep anything offensive or inappropriate in your avatar, signature, or
Any profile field for that matter. Warning Points: + 2
- Please don't post more than one of the same topic.
Make sure there isn't already a topic of what you're going to make before you make it. Warning Points: + 1, if done excessively.
- Please don't keep a ridiculously large signature. its okay to have a image in your signature, just make sure it isn't extremely large.
- Try not to post in old topics. Warning Points: + 1. This rule often confuses people, so I'll try and explain the rule for each forum.
Introductions: Try not to post in introduction topics that are over a week old. By that time, the person doesn't really need any more introductions, does he? Also, don't drag introduction topics themselves for too long either. They're for introducing, not chatting. Some small chatter is allowed of course, but try not to drag it for so long.
Leaving and Returning: These follow the same rules as Introductions.
About You: The About You topics can be revived at any time. If you want to post something new about yourself, you are free to do so.
News: News topics should be left alone 2 weeks after the last post, unless you have something important to add to it. After news is no longer news, you shouldn't have much of a reason to revive it. If you do, though, then you are permitted.
Site Discussion: Topics over a month old should be left alone. But, as always, you can revive a topic if you have a good reason to.
Calendar Events: The topics should be left alone a week after the event, unless you have a reason to revive it.
Sonic World Journal: 2 weeks after the Journal post the topic should be left alone. If you have something to say, you may post.
Sonic Fan Fiction: If you are updating your fanfic, it is obviously okay to post. If there is an old topic(hasn't been touched in a month) that isn't being continued, don't revive it. Topics in Websites, Emerald Arcade, Artist's Showroom, Roleplaying Area and Fangames can all be revived at any time. Topics in General Discussion, Random Hotel, Sonic the Hedgehog, Nintendo and General Video Game Discussion shouldn't be revived if they are over a month old. If you have reason, you can revive them.
- Only keep 1 and only 1 account. Don't use multiple accounts, okay? Warning Points: + 2
- If a topic has been locked by the Moderators or Administrators, members are not allowed to create a second topic on the same subject as the locked topic. If created, the topic will be locked, or completely removed from the site, and the member, if they are the creator of the first locked topic, will be given a warning. Warning Points: + 1
- Don't make off topic posts. If you wish to have idle chatter, do it in the chatbox. If you need to discuss something with someone personally, use the Private Message system. Warning Points: + 1, if done excessively.
- Avoid using profanity or foul language on the forum. Damn and Hell are allowed, as long as they are used sparingly. Warning Points: + 1
All of these rules follow for the chat as well, but the chat has some specific rules as well.
-Chat Box Rules-
- You may not post large pictures in the chat. If you have a large image you wish to show, post a link to it instead. Large images will make the chat jump up and down and may even stretch it.
- Do not repeatedly log in and out of the chat. That also counts as spamming.
- Please respect other members and do not flame
in the chat. If a chat mod tells you to do something, do not ignore. Chat mods can be recognized by a "@" sign next to their name.
- You are free to RP on the chat, but that too must be kept
at a PG13 level. No sexual content in the chat.
- Swearing is automatically censored in the forum, but not in the chat.
So..don't do it.
- Don't "Break" the chat. If you don't know how to "Break" the chat, then that's good.
Those of you who do know the method, don't do it.
=Warning Points System= Here's how the system goes. If you do anything to break the rules, You will get a warning point. The rules above state how and when exactly you will obtain a warning point, as well as how many. After you break the rules on your 5th warning point, you will get a temporary ban. After 2 temp. bans, you will be permanently banned. If I have anything to add, I will, and this post will be updated.

I pitty ya kaps i rly do ;) So adding the basic rules which almost EVERY self-respecting forum/website on the internet has/should have is "complicated"? Joe left the forum in the hands of Kapus. Kapus is doing his job and keeping order around here. And to keep order, you need rules and guidelines to base your actions on, do you not? If you ask me, I think Kapus is doing a dang good job with what he's doing, and I support it all the way through.

I pitty ya kaps i rly do ;) Well, from the looks of it, Joe isn't going to come back and Kap is in charge of this place. This forum is improving, nothing complicated about it. You just love to spam and not talk with proper spelling and grammar, which makes you say it's "complicated". Kapus is doing his job by running this forum and improving it. I also will support him all the way through all of the changes that are done.

| Ok kids, time for me to tell you some censored stuff that's going make you go ask your parents question that they will feel unconfterable answering. It can still be PG-13 if it's censored! Please let it be noted I will not do any of that stuff. | |

| I think either the rule should be edited or a new one should be made, saying "no sexual content is permitted on the forum/chatbox". Because it appears that inevitably people will try to find ways around the PG-13 thing. | |
