The other forms are more like an evolution of rage.

Sonic has only a few "Super" forms. There's Super Sonic, Hyper Sonic(which actually doesn't exist anymore,) and Knight of the Wind if you want to count that. I wouldn't. Darkspine Sonic wasn't exactly a super form, but more of a dark form.

It is a lot. Even 3 is a lot in my opinion, but yes, its much better.
