Splice The Hedgehog: RPG Fangame

I'm thinking he'll be close to the end of the game, yes. Infact, I have an idea for mount Mobious. Climbing to the peak is optional, but you will have to climb it near the end of the game.

all the sprites i have are too big X.X do ya have a sonic to edit?

I always had to resize them a little bit. like shortening their legs, body, sometimes head and ears, etc.

I can give you Splice, who's charset is completely fixed. But that may be complicated in getting to convert it to Zatic. I'll just have to fix Sonic's charset and then give it to you. I'll do that a little later.

You know. you CAN have characters bigger than the template. i do it in RMXP all the time when i need huge boats

So u need any sprites atm? im bored.

You can't in RM2K3. There is no way. You can probably do so in XP but not in the RPG maker I'm using.


EDIT: Well, In one night full of many hardships and sour events and a slight headache to top it all off, I've narrowed it down to 4 animations left to do. But since Daz' running animation is the same going left as it is going right, with the difference as simple as turning the sprites around, and the fact that I'm gonna knock out all of his attacking sprites in one go, You could say that I have only 2 things left to do.

Like I said back when I finished Splice: Sometimes you just gotta sit down and make yourself do something.

At the cost of going to bed real late both times, I've managed to complete two things. Although Daz is actually far from completion. He's close to having all his sprites updated. I even made him a new victory animation, which was partly shown in my last update post.
Anyway, I'm done for tonight. I need to relax.

I probably won't use Daz too much in game.
I just don't really care for him that much.

Although I didn't particularly like his new look(that hair bothers me..), I simply never really liked Daz that much. He seemed rather bland to me. Not much to him.

(The hair helps with his originality.) Well, What can I say? Daz never appeared in a game with actual Dialogue before. He never spoke, so you can't tell what his personality was. So of course he'd seem somewhat "bland".

Zatic is the type of guy that you would usually say hanging around the bar saying: See That chick? Shes a 10.
But he is also very determined and mature when he needs to be. usually when he uses a lot of his power. He also hates to be alone, but cant have friends because he is a god and can't be spotted. and usually goes out to help people in his free time. He talks regularly and pretty laid back, though his vocab isnt huge. Though being alive for years and years and years. he is a myth to regular people, and sience mt.mobious can never be climbed or flown up to he just waits for company and hopes there are other gods out there he can befriend. in times of huge threats against mobious he usually fights like h*** then erases everyone's memory.

I know you were trying to make Daz less of a recolor with the hair, but it looks pretty choppy to me.

But thats just me.

I noticed that a while ago, and I fixed it some. It looks better now.

All thats left now before I start making some new skills is Daz Special. To be honest, I'm not even sure if I should keep it around or not. But I know I'll be using the sprites for it so I'm gonna have to finish them.

Well, Regardless of whether or not I should keep it, I finished it anyway.

Now, I can start working on new skills for him. Thats all he needs right now!

Also, I should get back and finish up that one skill for Kyle.

Just so I won't forget, This is a list of skills I plan to make for him.

Lightning 1,2, and 3. The generic lightning skills obviously.

Spark Spinkick. Does a breakdancing spinning kick with his feet covered in electricity.

Soccer Lightning ball. Creates a ball of electricity and kicks it at the enemies light a soccer ball.

Spark spindash. Spindashes hard at an enemy, electrocuting them.

SparkWave. Generates electricity by spindashing and slams down onto the ground, creating a shockwave that hits all enemies and paralyzes them.

Lightning Ring. Spindashes in the air, going in a complete 360 circle and creating a ring made of electricity, then shoots through the ring as a ball of electricity at the enemy. Attempts to kill the enemy.

I've noticed that just about all the hedgehogs(the male ones, at least) all have animations
for break dance like attacks.

I was meaning to ask Speedy if I should get rid of those for him. If I do that, then only Sonic and Daz are the ones who do that. Splice doesn't breakdance. He does a flip for his Axe Kick skill, but thats about it. Kyle is not into acrobatics...mostly. And I'm sure Hyper Wasn't going to have them before I kicked him out. So it was just half of them that did it.

Yes, I am finally progressing in the story. I've successfully added many badniks from Sonic 1. Although I'm sorry that none of you got to see Motobug or Buzzbomber. Never fear! They will appear! And I know, Roller usually just rolls in and stops pixels next to you just to scare the crap outta you. Well, Don't expect him to stop this time. He will hit you. But he will run if he gets weakened.


At this point of the game you're supposed to go around and help people out. The main people you have to help out are your friends living in the city. You'll recognize that you're supposed to help them because you'll fight a mini boss. some of them are easy, seeing how people like Smash you're supposed to get later in the game and are far stronger than you.


(Note: Frost is optional, remember that. So you don't have to help
him fight the robots.)

After you help everyone, You'll see a scene with Sonic coming to save the day. And then you fight a real boss...

(Sorry, no screenshots of that yet.)

And about the fire, I'm working on that. Soon you'll see more fire, more busted up buildings, and actual robots running around.

After all of this is done, I'm gonna make a gameplay video.

EDIT: Forgot to note. Splice got a new battle stance outside of battle. =P

Why doesn't frost just eat them? =P

Because Frost can't inhale like Kirby can. AND he has a sensitive stomach. He strictly eats edible things.

I've been meaning to ask you this, but i'm sure you won't do it and i'm fine with that, but it won't hurt to ask. Can I have Shadow122 my FC in the game?
