Its an update. The only one who doesn't understand the concept of updating is Joe, so i think your fine.

Kingdom Hearts is kinda like an ultimate power, it can do anything and fulfil anything.
It is a collection of hearts that has bonded and grown so strongly it appears as a heart shaped moon.

Actually, I thought Kingdom Hearts WAS the door when I played the first one. But then when I played KH2, it was a moon.

I was very confused. But hey, even if its confusing, Kingdom Hearts is still a great series.

which seems to change color as more hearts are collected.....
and everyone wants to complete it for their own reasons


either way the whole series is one big brain explosion

Let's see:

Roxas wants to find it to give Axel, Xion, and himself a heart.

Xehanort/Ansem/Xemnas want it for something villianous.

And....I don't feel like adding the other people and their reasons.

Xehanort wants it so he can bring back the keyblade wars

That's got to be the dumbest thing I've ever heard. And that also makes him a terrorist, starting a war.

Roxas never wanted Kingdom Hearts, if I remember correctly. If memory serves, he wanted to destroy it after he fought Xion.

I never did understand the Keyblade Wars. What exactly is it?

it was a mysterious conflict between keyblade wielders of light and dark

here is what master xehanort says in the keyblade graveyard
"Behold. These lifeless keys used to be full of power. United with the hearts of their masters, on this barren soil, Keyblades of light and darkness were locked in combat as a great Keyblade War raged..."

um. why are there disney characters???

uhm all i can really say to that is why not

and that's the point of then game you travel to different worlds to lock the keyholes to stop the heartless

there probably is a better explanation but that is what i have off the top of my head

Heres the story. (True. Not Fake)

Leader of Disney and Square Enix were on an elevator.

They start talking about the things they have done and accomplished.
And then they start joking around about a game idea with disney characters and Final Fantasy Characters.

Well, the joke turned into one of the best series to date. and one of my favorites.
And the keyblade idea....it was a chainsaw at first. but when it was presented everyone was like
So they changed it into the keyblade.

It wasn't exactly, it was "chainsaw" like. If only someone had official artwork of what it originally looked like. Oh well.
