I don't think you should start off with the name. It's typical for Sonic character names to reflect something about the character (example: Tails has two tails, and Miles Prower is a pun on 'miles per hour', Dr. Eggman is an egg-shaped man, and my FC Huski Skylight's name-thing is her last name - she lives in the sky and has the element of Light).

If you're looking to make a good character either start with some kind of original purpose or idea behind them, go from there, and maybe then a good name based on that will come to you, or try and think of a name to reflect a concept you want your character to have.

That's my advice from creating over 30 characters which I can't bear to give up even though I desperately want less FCs. D'8

We're meant to be helping SL with his character. Not going into a contest of who has more FCs, and I don't even WANT that many characters. I have too many as it is, for me.
