it's quite an odd thing to pick for a holiday if you ask me but we get pretty fireworks so i don't really care

And LSD, that "something" would be the Houses of Parliament where the government hang out being gangster. So they were going to try to kill the "government" that they had at that time (I'm preeetty sure it was very different back then) and whoever was the King at that time. I don't exactly remember who was in power at that time but I did learn it at some point. o3o

I believe the Government was more of a monarchy back then.

On a side note, its a bit of a strange thing to complain about, but I don't like the green balloon in the banner. It looks weird.

None significant that I know of, no. Although it would be interesting to have a variety of other events from around the world for our banners.

And I agree with Speedy, the shades of green on that balloon should be closer together. The dark is just... too dark.

Or the light could be darker, but I think your idea is better. Think you could do a little editing, Kap?

I find this holiday conversation extremely amusing.

As for the green balloon, that's..just how it was. That's how that balloon always looked. I could tinker with it if you guys care that much.

I just went and looked back at the old Banner Gallery. The memories..all of those good times..
It was very nostalgic. I know we have monthly banners now, but I'm still not quite feeling it yet,
probably because the months are spaced out by quite a few days. I had so much fun and enjoyment from those banners, as did everyone else. I made the banners with care, the people waited for the banners to come in excitement.

Boy, I tend to ramble don't I? I'd better get to the point.
Part of the concept of the Monthly banners involved having something new and interesting
each month. Having something that fit the atmosphere of the month. Having something different for each month.

Now..the old banners..that is, the Weekly Banners, they were quite consistent with each other.
The banners had several running gags and short little stories in them. Despite having no dialogue and being simple stationary images, the banners often follow a small and visible plot after each other. This was acknowledged by the members and they enjoyed it. I enjoyed it as well.
So! Even though the monthly banners are to vary with the months and have something new and interesting, what if the banners occasionally
followed small little plots like the Weekly Banners would? The banners wouldn't have these plots often, but how about every once in a while
the banners would follow a little story like they used to? These Monthly Banners have no set time to stop. The Weekly Banners eventually
had to stop when there were no more Zones to use. The Monthly Banners could go on for as long as they want, leaving more potential.

So, what do you guys think? Would you mind the banners doing this every now and then? I sure wouldn't. I'd be happy to do it, actually.

Like anyone would dislike that idea. Honestly, Kap.
