We temporarily remove the Emerald Arcade so people will pay more attention to the other parts of the forum. I have no intention of removing the Emerald Arcade permanently. It is true that the Emerald Arcade sucks too much attention out of the forum, and this is why we disabled it. I would suggest removing it for longer than a week, though. A week is too short to leave an impression.

I hate that part of the forum, its boring. It sucks the life out of every other forum area. People will abuse it time and time again. I don't see a point in having one unless you could make it so that nobody gains post count when they post there which you can't do on here. =o
