...See, this is what I was talking about. Equal representation, or you guys will axe every character you don't like. As for the current portal, it's ...some kind of object that looks like some sort of primitive alien mothership whenever I see it.

You don't NEED Debug to get there, but I always do it anyway. :P

Just a tad bit too big, but I don't think you can shrink it any further without messing it up. plus a couple of frames flash a slightly different color. Is that intentional?

No, the animator I use is online and it does that, even if I make absolutely CERTAIN that the background is the same color. It also refuses to do transparency. It replaces that with a white background. It's the same background color as the forum (not the posts, that's darker) so if you put it somewhere on there, it may blend in more colorwise.
And I redid the speed, because that above looked off.

It's the best one I've found that's free. And like I said, it may prove less noticable if we put it on the dark grey part of the forum skin instead of the black part.

Thing is, this is what me and kapus were trying to figure out this afternoon. There's nothing to replace! Everything else fits too well! I don't like the current portal, partly because all the rest of the icons in the menu bar are CHARACTERS while the portal icon is an inanimate object.

^Which is why I suggested to put a character on it, but no one really seems to mind that its not a character. I don't mind but there could be a character added onto it.

I saw that Smash, that's why I made it. But the book holder was a quickie. The ones I take a lot of time on are the animations, which pretty much everyone seems to love to hate.

You do have a good point, We should slap sonic next to it. Oh, and I like that fanfic icon also.
