Most of you know this game as "Dr. Robotnik's Mean Bean Machine", but actually that's a cheap American rip-off. Puyo Puyo is similar to Tetris, but has a complex and intriguing appeal to it. At a first glance, you'd probably not get this game, but it's totally worth getting. A funny thing too is that it happens to be developed by Sonic Team (no wonder we got "Mean Bean Machine"....heh heh). Also, don't bother wasting your money on it. You can download it here: http://www.megaupload.com/?d=V7HZI6O0 (This is Puyo Puyo Fever)
Also, one last thing. Be warned, this game is rather difficult, and will require a lot of practice before you get the hang of it.

Not a fan of Tetris-style games. Give me Metal Slug.

I hate games like this. I like action games and actually good shooters that aren't trying to cash in on the fact that the shooting genre is most popular these days.
Thats because most western games are, and on NextGen Platform consoles, eastern games really freakin' suck. So on Xbox and PS-Triple Sales really Freakin Suffer.

Everyone seems to hate this =P Oh well, I suppose I have an odd taste in games. And I'm about sick of shooters, they're all over the place and stupid teenagers keep buying them.

^ This.
Funny. I liked the Kirby version of Puyo Puyo, Tetris Attack, Wario's Woods, and a few other tetris like games, but I never liked Tetris itself. I just..never liked it. I think I would have had a chance with it if my mom didn't buy the hand-held tetris for traveling which had obnoxious ear-bleeding music. What made it worse was that the mute button broke off when the sound was on.
God, we had to hide that thing.

That made my day. I myself never really liked Tetris either. And I never played the Kirby version (Wasn't it called Kirby's Avalanche?), but I used to own my friends at MBM.

... It's an old-School scrolling shmup. See it? Shoot it! That was the name of the game. One of the highest quality arcade gam es I've ever played, with awesome, high quality graphics, multiple weapons, and you weren't in some stupid spaceship like most shooters. (It actually makes SENSE falling to one attack here.) The series has a rather twisted sense of humor, with weird enemies and P.O.Ws who pull powerups out of ther pants, literally.
Back on topic:Yes, it was called Kirby's avalanche.
I like shooters, as well. There's a difference between shooters and first person shooters. A big difference. A First Person shooter has you controlling your character in first person, like Modern Warfare 2 and others. A general shooter is like Metal Slug 3, above. Only FPS I really like is Chex Quest 3.

Silly Podoboo. A hummingbird that has no song can never be a popstar.

It means you must find your song to be a popstar. Or if you suck you just suck.
