Rhys jumps over a long log and lands by the bus stop. "Whew, I made it."

(Golden will join the next day so....yeah)

Moriah started walking towards the bus stop all shaky and nervous, "This year is gonna be a good one for sure... hopefully."

Rhys tabs his foot waiting for the bus. He sighs and says, "I would have been at school by now if I just ran."

Rhys finally decided, "Hm, the bus is taking too long. I'll run to school." He starts running on the sidewalk.

"The first day of school..." A red and blue hedgehog stepped outside of his house and walked down the sidewalk. "With all that'd been going on, I hadn't had time for school. To think that things finally calmed down." He sat down on the bench at the bus stop upon arriving. "...Where's the school, anyway?" He looked around, raising one of his eyebrows while the other scrunched low. Just then, he caught sight of a purple female hedgehog coming his way. "Good morning, Violet!" He called out to her. She waved back.
"Hey, Splice. Are you enrolled, too?" She asked as she sat down next to him.
"Yep. Clara figured that I ought to get more of an education now that things have been cleared up."
"Yeah, I'm glad things are back to normal. Especially since we'd missed Smash's birthday by two weeks. I swear, he looked like he was gonna cry." Violet let out a small giggle. "But yeah, speaking of which, I heard that he was gonna be doing something at the school. Not sure what though."
"Huh..Well, Lets ask him if he shows up." Splice suggested.



Around the southern entrance, two cats were waiting by the bus stop. "...I don't know about this..." The orange cat looked to the side nervously. "I've never been to a public school before..."
"Don't worry, Everything'll be fine." The red cat reassured her. "Besides, we're friends now. We should look out for eachother. If you're having trouble, I'll help ya out, okay?" He smiled kindly at her. The chao sitting on his shoulder shouted happily. The other cat looked down. "Thank you...both of you."



"GAH!! I CAN'T BELIEVE I OVERSLEPT!!" A yellow hedgehog yelled as he burst out the front door of his house, tearing down the sidewalk with great speed. "I hope I didn't miss the bus! I don't even know where the bloody school is!" He blazed down the street until he came to a bus stop. There was another yellow hedgehog there as well. "Phew! I thought I missed the bus." He sighed of relief. The other yellow hedgehog slit his eyes at him. "Where have you been, Lightning?" Lightning scratched the back of his head. "In bed."

Rhys runs past Splice and heads for a shortcut to the school through an alleyway.

Moriah looked around and started walking towards the school. "I can get there faster by walking. Plus I can ask for help when I get there since I'm new."

He jumped over a trash can and ran past a older hedgehog. The older hedgehog said after Rhys ran past, "Hey, watch where you're going!" Rhys looked back at him, "Sorry, in a bit of hurry." Rhys continued running and saw the street that was close to the school. "Almost there."

Rhys slid real hard on the sidewalk to make a sharp turn and left dust behind him when he ran towards the school grounds. "I made it," he said with a smirk. Rhys stops and waits for the traffic to slow down to cross.

She kept walking until she was standing on school property, she took a deep breath and waited at the doors.

*The gates to the school are closed. They won't open until the first of the buses come. So no students can get in yet. It is a brand new school and very huge. *

((you all sure post fast O_o I was waiting for everyone to at least make one post before opening the school so no one gets left behind...XF))

The traffic finally came to stop and Rhys ran across at a normal pace. He jumps onto the sidewalk and walks to one of the gates. Rhys looked around as he saw other students talking, texting, and waiting to go inside. "Man, there's a lot of new students here," he said while disbelieve.

Rhys sees Hemlock leaning against the gate entrance and says to him, "Oh, hey Hemlock."

Moriah looked over at Rhys and Hemlock. "They must be friends." She says to herself and coughs a bit.

Rhys puts his bag down next to him and gets his water bottle. "Not very excited about school this year," he asked Hemlock after taking a sip.

Moriah took out a notepad and started to sketch a picture of Sonic the Hedgehog.

Rhys rubs some sweat off his head. "True, you won't know who will come to the school."

He puts his bottle back in his backpack. "I'll say, it depends what teachers we're going to get."

"Heh, he probably would just to try take over the world and have the school turned into EggmanLand."

She put her sketch pad away and keeps looking at Rhys and Hem.
