Splice The Hedgehog: RPG Fangame

*Her. I meant to say Her. I was thinking about Shade because you had previously mentioned updates you made to him.

Good news. Tab is now a decently playable character. And infact, She's almost done. And even more infact, Its possible that Kapus will finish her tonight. That means that we'll have another completed character to put up. And it brings us even closer to the end of the attack on Green Flower City.
Speaking of which, If I hadn't already mentioned it, I made the part where you help Crystal out and she even joins your party afterwards! In my saved game of the tesplay through, I have her on there. At the moment, she's a little worthless because I didn't start on her skills yet, but once you get her equipped with the proper stuff, she's...still a little worthless, actually. But atleast she can hurt enemies.

In terms of Crystal's Sprites, I've finished her defending and her damage completely. Moving on to running and then death. Once those are booted out of the way, Kapus should be finished Tab and will probably be working on or even finished the area where you meet Tab during the attack. Once he makes that area, I will take it and modify it so that you'll find her there. Tab joins your party as well.
After that, There will be nothing stopping me from progressing further into the story. (except for one small animation I forgot to finish.) Once I've progressed till after the attack, I'll finally make an official Splice The Hedgehog Gameplay video.

When I get the time, The first post will undergo a MAJOR update. I'm gonna have to go and update all the characters' and stuff, and add to the video list, and the credits also need to be updated but I don't think that's in the first post.

Sounds like a lot of work.

It has been a lot of work. I can't believe that after all this time we're still around the beginning of the game. But thankfully, We're moving on farther. Hopefully with the way things are going now I could start working on Station Square soon.

It gets more interesting.

Finally, I've made the boss of Green Flower City. (Even though Kapus still hasn't made that area yet.) I skipped ahead and began working further into the story, not waiting on Kapus. But when Kapus does his part, I'll immediately go back and work on it. In anycase, What I've gotten down so far.


Sonic Finally shows up! He came to save the day. But he was a bit late, due to some delays at the entrance.


And now, Eggman finally shows up. You finally get to fight him.


Don't think that this old machine hasn't gone through any improvements. It may look the same on the outside, but on the inside its loaded with deadly rapid firing missiles. Sonic should know.


The boss is currently undergoing testing, along with the entire scene for that matter. But so far, so good. It's looking pretty well. You have to fight a miniboss RIGHT before hand, so you'll want to save up on your items. Trust me on this, you'll really want to save your items.

I need to get to work on Sonic and Crystal's skills. I think I'll do that right after this scene is complete.

At fist I thought Sonic was the boss.

Lol. No. It'd be hilarious if he were. Then that vision in the Chaos Emerald that Silver saw in Sonic 06 would make sense.

It probably would.

Still testing the scene. Only one more problem stands in my way, then I'll move onto working on Sonic and Crystal's skills. And I'll need to make Crystal's charset, and update Sonic's.

Sorry for the slow progress. I've been very distracted over the past few days due to reasons i posted in my most recent thread.

I've completed a few miscellaneous things, but failed to get much farther in the story. Due to being distracted, I've often started on something and then get thrown off by something, and then forget what I was doing by the time I get back and then start on something else. Repeat.


Through all of that, here's a few various things I managed to get down.

Kyle has learned a new skill: Flash Strike. Now, he only needs one animation to be completed before he is rendered a complete character.

Gizmo has learned 2 new skills. Or rather, one new skill and recovered one old skill from before the last database corruption. Blast Cannon and Energize. Blast Cannon looks better than it did before. Gizmo can be considered a completed character now that he's recovered his lost skill, but I am going to go back and redo some of his sprites and animations.

I have discovered the possibility of a skill where one character can give up their own HP to another person. The only problem is that you'll have to set it to heal everyone, otherwise it won't work. I have given that skill to Violet, seeing how she lacks in skills and also was the Guinea Pig for it. From that discovery, I have created a skill for Cymbeline called "Sacrifice". I'm sure you know how that works. She pretty much gives up her own life to completely restore everything to everyone in the party.


Smash only needs a few animations redone, and he's complete. MAINLY just an update in sprites which shouldn't take too long. But as I'm going along, I will have to go back and remove the spikes from his knuckles on all of his sprites. Only then will he be truly complete.


Sonic has been a decently playable character since the days of before Splice The Hedgehog. But nowadays there have been updates to him and he's a lot more fun to use. But he's still incomplete. I have made a few things for him though that makes him more compatible with this particular game, and he has a remade spindash skill now. (The old one was lost and crappy to begin with.)



Thats about all I've gotten done in the past week and weekend. I'm gonna keep at it and try my best.

I tried remaking the Splice The Hedgehog Title screen using the Sonic Title Font, provided to me by Miles24, and this is what I have now.



I guess I'm gonna have to do the shading and everything myself.

I've just gotten new motivation. I hope to be able to put it to good use.

I'd like to see it in fullscreen. On a side note, I've finished the Blade Drifts of Zopheir.
