It's a "Slide pad", with 360 degree analog control functionality.

Not getting.

This plays 3DS games. noe DS games. the 3DS also uses enhanced graphics. i mean, LOOK AT THAT NEW KID ICARUS GAME! graphics are great!

Only this isn't a rehash of the DS. This is an entirely new console.
I believe it's backwards compatible however.

I love the 3DS, it looks amazing, and if I get one, I'm definitely getting Sonic Colors -and- the Kid Iccarus game.

Well, it's certainly not going to overpower me. I mean, I don't even have the money. Does look pretty cool, though..

Don't worry, Pokemon Black & White are at least a year away from being released in Japan, and they will probably be released first. The 3DS is probably still in the final development stage, and the one in those images is probably just a prototype.

I'm..not interested in Pokemon.

This looks pretty cool and fun. A 3D ds sounds epic. I would buy anything that is 3D. Nintendo you impress me once again.
