Usergroups

Now this is an issue that has been bothering me for a while. There are too many usergroups on this site and are making things too cluttered.
Not only that, but just about every usergroup out there is a fanclub. I plan to clean these up a bit. Here is my current idea on this matter:

I say we get rid of some of the fan club usergroups, if not all. If we are to get rid of some, then I say get rid of the fan clubs
of the less important characters(Silver, Chaotix, etc.) I plan to replace some fan clubs with better and more reasonable usergroups,
such as an Artist's union, a Writers Group, Creators(for people who make games), etc.

Even if I don't replace the usergroups with new ones, I still plan to remove some usergroups from the site.
I'm going to hold a poll here to decide which usegroups to get rid of. You may vote for multiple options.

Please share your ideas on this matter and offer ideas.

Maybe you could combine the Sonic character clubs into something like "Sonic Hero Club" and "Sonic Villain Club" to group the characters together? Or put them into clubs for the teams from Sonic Heroes (Team Sonic, Team Rose, etc.) or something.

Although... we are Sonic World. It would be nice to keep some of the Sonic stuff around. .3.

Well, of course. The only reason why I want to get rid of these groups is because of the clutter.
I honestly wouldn't mind if a few of the groups stayed, and we just got rid of the fan clubs for the less important characters.

As for the Team clubs, they sound alright to me.

I agree with the team club idea. If their was a group that I would have to get rid of, it would be Chaotix Club.

As much as I hate to say it, Chaotix should probably go. That or Chao Breeders.

A new idea came to mind. It is possible to make a group that people automatically join when they reach a certain number of posts. For example, I could make a group titled "Emerald Guardians" and members would automatically become part of this group when they reach 2000 posts. The idea is a bit more useless then the other usergroup idea I had, but please share your opinions on it.

Sounds cool. Too bad I have about 1600 posts before I'd hit it.

I completely agree with Speedy. I'd like to mix those Post-counting usergroups along with the unions, like the Artist's Union that anyone
can join as long as they have an art topic.

I agree with LD. I wouldn't mind having both ideas 2 and 3.

Idea 2 and 3 but without the post requirement thing.

Get rid of them. People only use them to change their name color anyway.

I like the idea of color changing along with ranks with post count. Although the chat abusers will whine about it.

Well, we've hit a snag then. We're tied with option 1 and option 2.

I voted for option 1, but accidentally canceled my vote and it wouldn't let me vote a second time.
