The Nav bar is too cluttered

Subject: The Nav bar is too cluttered Thu Feb 18, 2010 8:36 am

It should be reduced to one bar, and I have some things that we could be without:

- Home: We can just click the banner
- Calender: Who really reads that? We could also just stick in the portal
- Art Gallery: It doesn't even look activated anymore
- Search: It doesn't even work well, and can just but put into the forum as well.
- Members: You can find the same thing in top 20 posters

Are you the only one who thinks its cluttered, or do more people think so?
I personally think its just fine how it is. The fact that it moves down to another bar isn't that
bad. If we absolutely had to remove one, it'd be the Art Gallery.

i am using a mac
and since it has a fairly large screen the navbar is 1 line for me so i don't care

I think it's a bit cluttered. =/

I think that the calendar, search, and art gallery should go. Nobody really uses them. Maybe the home button, I don't use it, I just click the banner (I'm sure everyone else does the same.) o:

The home icon is mainly there for aesthetic reasons, I believe. The art gallery is discontinued, and hte others aren't used much though.

I use the calendar all the time. But yeah, the Art Gallery could go.
I also use the search system, and it should probably be kept there.
The Home button, I'll admit, is quite redundant.

I think it is a bit cluttered and it makes my mobile slow because of so many items and pictures. it slows it down and that's why it takes me so long to reply. ((I'm using my friends comp right now but I don't have much time left so yeah))

Honestly, I think its fine. After a while you get used to where everything is, and its not like you need it to view the forum.

I stated in the Journal that I'm making new icons for the Navibar, so it might look less cluttered when the new icons come.
