What I hate about them is that I know it's gonna hurt, and I know it's gonna come. I f I skin my knee or hurt my ankle, I'm more surprised, and less hurt. I'm just like "Oh, look at that."

that is why most people hate needles

when you know it's coming and you think it will hurt you tense up
making your muscles tighten so the needle needs to be pushed harder
to get in

that is why they say relax before they give it to you or you'll make it hurt way more yourself
most have a problem doing this but i am fine

only had 1 needle that ever brought on pain

this exact thing happened to me when i had the last of my 3 cervical cancer vaccine injection thingies today.
