| In an old-school RPG, you normally encounter enemies just by moving your character around the screen, and all of a sudden you're in battle. However, nowadays, you can see an enemy visually on the map, and just go to it to start a battle. Which types of encounters do you prefer? | |

| Visual. There are times when I need to see my enemies to avoid them.
Although I usually prefer to attack all of them, in certain games it would be madness to fight every enemy you see. | |

| Like in Mother.
That game always had random encounters, and a LOT of them.
I can deal with both, really. I'd prefer visual encounters to avoid tedium during the obligatory "go back to the place at the beginning of the game" section. | |
